Biodiverse landscape
Strolling around on a wet morning in Copenhagen I stumbled across this new housing development with a terrific landscape where the order of priorities seems to be;
1. Biodiversity
2. Cycling infrastructure
3. Pedestrians
Cars are way down the list.
No fences or gates, landscape flows seamlessly up and over podium car park, no ‘look-but-don’t-touch’ manicured lawns or box hedges. No hard paving. This is urban housing where natural landscape is allowed to flow around and through. And by the way look at the size of those windows!
