Access to good quality housing is one of the great built environment challenges of our time.
Housing delivery might be more constrained than ever but the Housing Design Awards highlights those projects that are bucking the trend, shining a spotlight on the most innovative, boldest and best examples.
The Housing Design Awards was established by Nye Bevan 78 years ago initially to identify the best ideas among council’ post-war rebuild, and have established a comprehensive database of the best housing projects produced in the UK. The awards are supported by the RICS, RIBA and RTPI, Landscape Institute, MHCLG, GLA and Homes England.
The deadline for the Housing Design Awards 2026 is Midday on the 10th March and you can submit both completed and unbuilt projects.
It’s a great way to demonstrate and celebrate the brilliant work that is being done in the sector.
